Quick Tip

How to write a better ad

One of the best ways to quickly punch up your ad's effectiveness (or any marketing or sales copy) is to apply the Rule of One.

There are actually 5 elements that make up this rule. Here they are:

  • One good idea
  • One core emotion
  • One captivating story
  • One single, desirable benefit
  • One call to action

The next time you are writing to persuade someone to take action, make sure your copy includes one, and only one, of each of those elements.

Note - if you're not sure where to start, start with your Call to Action. You'd be surprised how many ads either don't have one or have too many (click here for A, do this for B, or call this number for C).

This one change will have a significant impact on your results.

Have a profitable week!
