Quick Tip

Got GAS?

Millions of photography enthusiasts suffer from a "condition" called GAS.

GAS stands for Gear Acquisition Syndrome. It is the desire to purchase new camera gear, even when your current gear is perfectly good.

I understand guitar players suffer from a similar syndrome (guitar acquisition syndrome).

But as photographer and founder of CreativeLive, Chase Jarvis once said...

"The best camera is the one that's with you."

I think that's great advice to apply to your marketing as well.

Every day there are new platforms, technologies, and techniques for promoting your businesses.

"Must have" tools the experts say you "can't live without."

But, with apologies to Chase - The best marketing is the marketing you will do.

Pick 1 or 2 marketing activities that you enjoy. Ones you will do consistently. Ones you'll stick with long enough to do well.

When that next must-have marketing tool pops into your inbox, ask yourself...

When it comes to your business, do you want to be a camera collector?

Or do you want to make great images?

Yours for smarter marketing,

Bill
